Learn More To Earn More

How about if we flesh that out a bit more by saying “Learn More, Earn More and Deserve It All.”

Go into the home of almost any highly successful person and you will find a library of books, sometimes an actual room such as a den or a library, other times just lots of bookshelves or stacks on the floor of books that they have read. In my own case I have read many books in a wide variety of fields that relate to my work as a trainer, speaker, author, entrepreneur and leader.

You have to have the right skills, at the right time and that match a need in the current marketplace. I must add that it really helps if you enjoy the field. Something that gives you satisfaction for a project that you can help grow from beginning to end.

It is a simple fact… People with more education earn more money. The field you choose will affect the bottom line dollar amount. And, yes, certain fields do so much better than others. And you need to have a career that you will enjoy. The last thing you want is a soul killing, no fulfillment dead end job no matter how much it pays.

Your earnings are driven by a combination of educational level and occupational choice. Some occupational clusters pay better than others. For example, the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) occupations earn more than teachers, regardless of educational level.

You might think that college or any continuing education is just high school continued, but it’s not. Higher education opens doors for you that high school doesn’t. And college can change you and shape you in ways that you might not imagine. Thanks to all the knowledge, skills and experience you’ll gain through continuing education, you’ll be able to adapt to a greater variety of jobs and careers. Statistics show that a your future education can help you:

Get a better job
Helps you keep your job
And last but not least, Make More Money

Having more education lowers your risk of unemployment and leads to a bigger paycheck. What do want your average salary tol be when you achieve your educational goals?
